Labour Minister receives Indian Ambassador to Bahrain

H.E. Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, received H.E. Mr. Piyush Srivastava, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and discussed with him ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, the most prominent topics related to human resources development, enhancing the protection of the workforce in the private sector, investment opportunities and developing labour market systems in accordance with international labour standards were reviewed and discussed. For his part, the Indian ambassador praised the level of bilateral relations between his country and Bahrain, praising the efforts made by the Kingdom in the labour sectors and ensuring the rights of this category. He also expressed his country's thanks and appreciation for the care received by the Indian community in the Kingdom, appreciating Bahrain's continuous interest in advancing areas of joint cooperation between the two countries at various levels.
