Minister of Labour briefs MP Zainab Abdul Amir on the latest developments in the employment of nationals in the private sector

His Excellency Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, met with MP Zainab Abdul Amir Ibrahim, in his office at the ministry. The meeting reviewed the latest developments in the implementation of programs and projects to qualify and integrate citizens in various functional and professional specialties in the productive and economic sectors that attract the labour market. The meeting also focused on the ministry’s efforts and initiatives to encourage youth and employers to benefit from the incentives and benefits provided in the areas of specialized qualification, wage support, improving work structure and raising production levels in private sector establishments. During the meeting, they pointed to the need to enhance cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities in support of joint efforts to achieve sustainable development goals, including the development of national legislation related to labour fields.
