1. Workers in any establishment, or a specific sector, or a specific activity, or similar or related industries or crafts may establish one or more unions of their own in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (33) of 2002 regarding labor unions
2. The establishment of the union shall not be on a sectarian, religious or ethnic basis.
3. Workers subject to the civil service regulations shall have the right to join it.
4. The number of members of the general assembly (founders) shall be three or more and the number of members shall be ten or more.

The following conditions must be met by a member of the labor union

1. To be among the workers to whom the provisions of this law apply.
2. Not to be the employer in the establishment or one of the officials responsible for drawing up its policy by making decisions therein.
