Occupational Accident Reporting Service

This service is provided to workers and employers with the aim of reporting occupational accidents and injuries at work sites, in accordance with the rules of the Labor Law in the Private Sector No. (36) of 2012. Upon reporting, the Investigation Unit in the Occupational Safety Department investigates the occupational accident, prepares the technical report, and submit it to the relevant competent authorities Relationship.

    1. The accident or injury must be a result of an accident that occurred to the worker during the work performance or because of it..

    2. The accident occurred at the work site, or any sites affiliated to it, or during the period of the worker going to work or returning from it.

    3. The injured worker was employed by the employer referred to in the form during the time of the accident.

    4. To report the accident of death or serious injury within 24 hours from the time of the accident.

    5. Other injuries or vehicle accidents to be reported within 15 days from the date of the injury.

    1. A valid copy of the injured worker's ID card (CPR).

    2. A copy of the contract concluded with the employer or facility.

    3. A copy of the accident medical report.

    4. A copy of the social insurance report.

    5. A copy of the police station report.

    6. A copy of the facility's report on the accident.

    7. A copy of the attendance sheet for the injured worker.

    8. Fill out the Occupational Accidents and Injuries Reporting Form and submit it to the Occupational Safety Department directly, or by e-mail to (osd@mol.gov.bh).

    9. The injured worker or his/her representative can report occupational accidents after filling out the form for reporting occupational accidents.
