Labour Minister inaugurated the 12th annual conference for the rehabilitation and development of leaders

H.E. Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour, inaugurated on Wednesday the 12th annual conference for qualifying and developing leaders under the title "Think as a CEO", organised by Origin Group, during the period 21-22 June, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Banna, Chief Executive of the Group and a noticeable participation of good number of experts and specialists in human resource development from inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain. The conference aims to develop national cadres in human resources development in light of the acceleration of technology and artificial intelligence. Moreover, it focused on the development of young leaders, which are the most important pillars of success and linking them to technology. In this regard, the conference reviews the most prominent leadership problems and difficult decision-making during crises and how to manage work teams to find appropriate solutions with a review of successful experiences in this context. In a statement on this occasion, Humaidan emphasised the importance of the theme of this year's conference, pointing out that the development of national competencies and upgrading them to leadership levels reflects positively on the sustainability of improving productivity levels in institutions, given that the qualified national leadership element represents real capital in development paths. The minister called attention to the successful experiences of institutions that relied on Bahraini competencies that progressed professionally to attain advanced leadership positions. For his part, Dr. Al Banna said that this conference comes to refine the behaviors and skills of young administrative leaders, especially from the future generation, who will become leaders and managers to lead companies, institutions and other entities in both, public and private sectors. The sponsor of the ceremony, H.E. Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour, honoured the institutions and companies participating and supporting the conference. Also among the honorees were the establishments that have achieved success stories in developing their cadres thanks to providing professional and specialised training, especially for young people, with the aim of providing them with professional skills in order to lead their institutions towards excellence and success. This year, the conference will be held over two days, where the latest simulation methods in practical training will be addressed. It will also review the best models, practices and labor experiences presented by a group of experts and specialists in the field of upgrading the skills of leaders in various government and private institutions.
