Reinstate National Medical Cadres in the Private Healthcare Sector

His Excellency Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour, met with Dr. Hassan Humaid Al Arrayed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ibn Al Nafees Hospital, in his office at the ministry. This meeting discussed enhancing cooperation in employing medical and technical cadres in light of the strategy of private health sector institutions that rely on Bahraini competencies in the fields of medicine and its specialties and exerting efforts to attract citizens registered with the ministry with professional specialties to meet the hospital's future needs. The two sides also agreed to work on proposing candidates from the Ministry of Labour and in cooperation with the Ministry of Health to obtain qualified Bahraini cadres with specialised technical skills. They also discussed ways to benefit from the initiatives provided by government agencies to support the wages of new employees, specialized training opportunities for medical and technical cadres and the continuous development of Bahraini human resources, using modern technology to enhance Bahrain's position in this vital field.
