Minister of Labour receives outgoing Sri Lankan Ambassador

H.E. Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), received on Tuesday, the Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Pradeepa Saram, in his office at the ministry, to mark the end of the Ambassador’s service in the Kingdom. On this occasion, HE the Minister of Labour expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Ambassador Pradeepa Saram and her role in enhancing joint cooperation between the two friendly countries, as well as raising collaborative levels in all fields, foremost of which is, labour affairs. He also wished her continued success in her future assignments. For her part, H.E. Saram expressed her pride in working as her country's ambassador to Bahrain, praising the support and cooperation she received throughout her work in the Kingdom from all sides, which contributed to the success of her diplomatic mission. She also praised the support provided by Bahrain to the workforce and the pioneering initiatives it has implemented to develop the labour market and its respect for human rights, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
