The community development Centres in the Kingdom provide their services in the field of Child Development through implementing projects and programs that develop and enhance the creativity of children and youngsters in the cultural, educational, social and recreational aspects. Additionally, these Centres organize scientific camps that provide children with the opportunity to gain new experiences that augment their interest in discovery and knowledge seeking. Moreover, they provide the children with the opportunity to participate in local and international meetings and exhibitions to showcase their projects and ideas and gain new experiences and ideas that develop their creativity

 

 

Youth and Children Club

 

The Youth and Children Club, affiliated to the Ministry of Social Development, is one of the distinguished activities built on a scientific vision that looks forward to the future. The Club organizes a number of activities and programs that harmonize with the interests of children and youngsters, support their physical, psychological, environmental and social needs, and equip them with technical skills in the fields of computing, scientific discovery and innovation.

 

Age Groups:

 

Age groups of both sexes "females and males" have been divided into three levels as follows:

Level I: from 7 to 10 years.

Level II: from 11 to 14 years.

Level III: from 15 to 18 years.

 

This is in addition to the Mad Science program which targets the age group (6-8 years) of both sexes.

 

Important Objectives of the Youth and Children Club include:

  • Implement projects and programs that develop and improve the creativity of children and youngsters in cultural, educational, social and recreational fields.
  • Organize scientific camps that provide children with the opportunity to acquire new experiences that help develop their love for discovery and knowledge.
  • Allow children to participate in local and international meetings and exhibitions to showcase their projects and ideas and acquire new experiences and ideas that develop their creativity.
